AprilAire Z10IDT Wireless Indoor Temperature & Humidity Sensor
Wireless room-level temperature and humidity sensing for the AprilAire S86WMUPR thermostat.
The AprilAire Z10IDT adds indoor temperature and relative-humidity sensing to an S86WMUPR Wi-Fi thermostat without running new sensor wire. It is designed to help address hot and cold spots, improve temperature representation and support room-specific scheduled control.
An S86WMUPR can connect to up to eight Z10IDT indoor sensors and use selected sensors individually or as an averaged temperature input.
Key Features
- Wireless connection to the S86WMUPR thermostat.
- Measures indoor temperature and relative humidity.
- Supports up to eight indoor sensors per compatible thermostat.
- Temperature averaging can help reduce hot and cold spots.
- Sensor-controlled scheduling can prioritize specific areas at different times.
- Integrated LED indicates pairing and low-battery status.
- Replaceable battery with approximately one-year published battery life.
- Compact 1.79 x 1.79 x 0.53 in body.
- 5-year warranty.
Application & Compatibility
The Z10IDT is specifically documented for the S86WMUPR. Do not assume compatibility with S84 thermostats, S86NMU/S86NMUPR or legacy AprilAire communicating controls.
