Installation Considerations
- Some dimmers may require their side fins to be removed to maintain proper spacing in a multi-gang installation.
- Removing dimmer fins can reduce the device's maximum load capacity. Follow the derating instructions supplied with each control.
- When line-voltage and low-voltage devices share a common wallplate, an appropriate barrier backbox may be required.
- Confirm wallbox depth, device compatibility, electrical ratings, and applicable electrical-code requirements before installation.

CW-series Claro wallplates are offered in coordinated gloss finishes, with selected models also available in Stainless Steel. Always confirm that the finish code in the complete model number matches the accompanying controls and accessories.
Stainless Steel note: Stainless Steel wallplates use a black plastic trim and alignment adapter that may be visible from the side. Lutron recommends coordinating these wallplates with Black or Midnight controls and accessories.
